The SAW™ Heavy Mount is a heavy duty mount for high vertical static and shock loads in compression, while at the same time providing high isolation values in the horizontal shear direction. Typical applications include:
SAW™ Mounts consist of a cylindrical shaped rubber section with integrally bonded interleaf metal plates bonded to two square heavy duty outer steel fixing plates. It is designed for large compressive thrust forces while providing low shear stiffness rates.
The combination of a stable low installation height, high compressive stiffness and low shear stiffness makes the SAW™ Heavy Mount a versatile high performance anti-vibration mount.
